Sautéed Green Beans Garlic Almonds (Printer version)

Crisp green beans combined with garlic and toasted almonds for a flavorful, vibrant side.

# What You'll Need:

→ Vegetables

01 - 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed

→ Aromatics

02 - 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

→ Nuts

03 - 1/4 cup sliced almonds

→ Oils & Fats

04 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ Seasonings

05 - 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
06 - 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
07 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and blanch for 2 to 3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and immediately transfer to ice water to halt cooking. Drain thoroughly and set aside.
02 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat and toast sliced almonds, stirring constantly, until golden and aromatic, approximately 2 minutes. Remove almonds from the skillet and reserve.
03 - In the same skillet, pour in olive oil and add sliced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant without browning.
04 - Add the drained green beans to the skillet. Sauté, stirring frequently, for 3 to 4 minutes until heated through and slightly crisp-tender.
05 - Season with sea salt, black pepper, and optionally lemon juice. Toss to evenly combine.
06 - Sprinkle toasted almonds over the green beans and serve immediately.
