# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes indulgent but actually feels good in your body, no afternoon crash.
  • The spread comes together in under five minutes and makes enough to last a few days.
  • You can throw whatever crunchy vegetables you have on hand into it—nothing gets wasted.
02 -
  • Make the spread first and let it sit for ten minutes—the flavors settle and taste more like themselves instead of just green noise.
  • Slice your vegetables right before assembly or they'll start sweating and the whole thing gets watery.
03 -
  • Buy herbs the day you plan to make this, not three days before—they fade and the whole thing tastes less alive.
  • If your avocado isn't ripe, use extra mayo and a tiny bit more lemon juice instead of waiting and risking the whole thing.
